It can be overwhelming to visit a new church for the first time. Here are some Frequently Asked Questions to help you get the most out of your visit. We hope to see you soon!
IS IN-PERSON SERVICE AVAILABLE?
Beginning June 13th, we will be offering limited in-person service. You can find out more information and sign-up on the in-person service page.
WHO ARE YOU?
The Crossing is the English-speaking, multiethnic ministry of Chinese For Christ Church of Hayward -- a non-denominational, evangelical Christian church in the East Bay. For more about our church and beliefs, visit our About Page.
HOW DO I GET CONNECTED?
We have small groups throughout the week in different locations, based on your current life stage to help you Get Connected.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Sunday worship is at CFC Church of Hayward at 22416 Meekland Ave in Hayward. There are signs and greeters to direct you to our service.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
Due to construction, our parking lots are not open. However, you can park at Amtrak or Cannery Park (south of the A Street overpass).
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON SUNDAY?
We know what it's like to be the new person in the room. Here's what you can expect from a typical Sunday at The Crossing:
A service that lasts about 75 minutes
Live music and singing
Friendly people who will make you feel loved and welcome
Gospel-centered, Biblically-based messages to encounter Jesus and change your life
Childcare and in-person programs for kids are currently unavailable. We do however have programs for Preschool-5th Grade that meet online.
A place to be yourself and meet new friends
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Clothes! Dress as casually or formally as you feel comfortable. You are welcome here.
IS THERE SOMETHING FOR MY KIDS?
Yes! We value families at The Crossing. As the pandemic continues, our programs for Preschool - 5th Grade meet online. Please contact Lisa Ko at email@example.com for more information on how to connect your child with one of our online small groups.
AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE ANYTHING?
No! We pray that you will connect with God through the worship, and enjoy meeting people. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest, unless that is your desire.
